Welcome to Boca Grande
I remember when Boca Grande opened up in Coolidge Corner (Map). My then fierce loyalty to Anna's Taqueria made me keep my distance, but after a while I finally got curious.I went a few times, really for the enchiladas, but didn't get hooked until I became part of the frenzy at the Kendall Square location in Cambridge, MA (Map). This tiny storefront serves hundreds of people each weekday, and then either sends them upstairs to sit and eat or back to their cubicles.
There's also a location in Porter Square (Map). All Boca Grande Taqueria hours are 10 am - 11 pm each day.
I'd post a link to their site, but it looks like who ever is in charge there was too busy ringing the cash register and forgot to renew the domain name on the menu: www.bocagranderestaurants.com. Instead, check out their Citysearch page here.

Don't like how you're biased towards the inferior ingredients of Anna's Taqueria.
For those of you who want something that gets as close as possible to real mexican food, Boca Grande's rice, refried and pinto beans (forget about the black beans, we don't eat those in Mejico) as well as their corn (tortillas de maiz) are as close as it gets to having a piece of Mexico's heaven.
So, forget about Anna's and try Boca for once. I live much closer to Anna's and still walk a few blocks everytime to enjoy the superior quality food of Boca.

I'm not Mexican, but I've lived in Texas and Colorado and I know authentic Mexican when I eat it. Boca is the real deal, Ana's is an inferior copycat. Try a carnitas burrito grande with black or pinto beans, salsa, and guac. I'm addicted. El Pelon is another excellent taqueria. I've heard great things about Tacos Lupita, but haven't gotten there yet. Ana's is ok, but not as fresh or authentic. This is a great site because I love burritos, but I don't agree with this 'expert' and he doesn't give any explanations in his reviews!

Boca Grande has gone downhill, I work right across the street from the 1st street location and have been going here for more than 10 years. The grande is so small I commented to the burrito maker who pretended not to understand english, so I spoke with the cashier who told him to put on more chicken, 2 whole chunks of chicken... for $6.50ish, it's not worth it. Felipe's in the Garage is so much better, so is Anna's...
