Pay Today, Free Tomorrow At Boloco
If you buy a Boloco burrito today, 5/22/08, and keep your receipt, you can trade it in for a free burrito tomorrow. It's part of a promotion to reduce the woes of their planned $0.25 price increase, due to rising food costs. I think that's pretty nice of them.
Official statement here.

Boloco Invaded: 21 Taco Salute
Boloco was offering 3 tacos for $2. All you fools who missed out have my sympathy. Seven of us from work, did not miss out.
From top left to bottom right: Dan, Livia, Mike, Andrew, Melanie, John, Me, 3 steak tacos.
I got an email from Boloco's Sal Farulla, who said that the Newbury Street location had the best taco turnout. You seriously can't beat 21 tacos for $14.

Highest Value Tacos: Hurry To Boloco
Yesterday John, champion of Burrito Blog's first speed eating contest, and I went and took advantage of Boloco's 3 tacos for $2 offer (coupon required).
Rather, yesterday we accepted the offer. When we go back over and over again until 10/31/06, we will be taking advantage.
Regularly priced just under $6 for 3, the tacos we decent. John had 3 steak and I mixed it up with steak, carnitas, and tofu. Unless you're really into tofu, I recommend not experimenting. It tasted fine, but was straight out of the refrigerator, and no one likes a cold taco.
Tacos came with salsa, shredded cheese, and some undisclosed, peach colored, tangy sauce. The sauce had a nice kick, but as burgers do not require Thousand Island dressing, tacos need not be similarly altered. Next time I'll get it on the side or not at all.
Unfortunately my camera phone is garbage, and you deal hunters will just have to trust me. Taco Bell's value pricing is a joke compared to this. Go.

Steak Teryaki Review By Rich
Good: caramelized onions, tight wrap, nice and light (considering the amount of food that I binged on for thanksgiving, I was happy to not get overloaded with a burrito)
Not as good: could use more steak and a bit more teriyaki flavor
It's a nice change of pace, but for the same drive, I can go to Anna's.

Mutant Breed Of Buffalo
- Teriyaki
- Hummus
- Feta and Caesar Dressing
- BBQ and Caramelized Onions
- Buffalo Sauce and Blue Cheese
- Peanut Sauce and Cucumbers
I got mine without the blue cheese, and it was a little dry. I feel like it must be possible to mix buffalo sauce with rice and tortillas. Maybe this deserves a second shot?

Challenge: I Take No Prisioners
Inspiration: Cajun chicken, black beans, roasted corn salsa, sour cream, rice, and a flour tortilla
Challenge: DJ Turbz claims he can eat a burrito faster than Phil. Please remember that Phil once ate three Anna's super burritos (with everything) in one sitting, and defeated The Ultimate Big Burrito. But this is a test for speed, not quantity.
When is game day? Update: video results of the speed eating contest.
Related: Turbz gave the Cajun burrito high marks, but keep in mind this kid loves his food.

Welcome To Boloco
Formerly known as The Wrap, the Boloco menu offers more wrap-like selections than it does burritos.
In fact, Burritophile puts Boloco on its short list ofPlaces To Go If You Want Something That's Probably Not A BurritoTraditionalists, please do not be offended. We've covered Romano's Pizza and had amazing results, so we find no harm in giving Boloco a shot, even if the burritos are less traditional and a bit 'inspired.'
See for yourself. Click on the menu for an enlarged version.
